![]() We saw him blow up at Liz just because her son had sex with his daughter and maliciously taunt Alice about her crush on Sean. ![]() It’s a smart bit of wisdom, but does it totally square with the Jimmy we know? Jimmy is far from a meek or emotionally restrained person throughout this season, we’ve seen him snap at his patients, too frustrated and impatient to let them come to their own conclusions. “You’ve screwed up so many times that you think you don’t have the right to be upset with anybody,” he points out. But he does come through for Jimmy, scaring Chet with a terrifying, extra-long story and later advising Jimmy to stop letting Alice get away with everything. Paul is having an off day in general, between failing to make contact with his daughter and failing to come through when Alice needed a push in the right direction. Paul and Brian join Jimmy for his ride around Los Angeles looking for Alice, bringing their own baggage with them. Maybe that’s why she takes Jimmy’s car and drives (without a license) to Summer’s garden party and then to the dorm room of a USC guy she met. After Paul projects all over the place during one of his usual chats with Alice, she feels even more alone. In Jimmy’s half, he and Alice are on shaky ground after he and Gaby reassure her that their tryst meant nothing (which backfires when Alice points out, “So, to get this straight, you banged someone who doesn’t mean anything to you but meant a lot to Mom, and you did it in Mom’s bed?”). It takes time and sometimes bravery.įor the majority of this episode, the cast is split clean down the middle. But in those cases, making a change is easier said than done. Gaby needs to let go of her unresolved feelings about her ex-husband, Nico. Jimmy needs to change his relationship with his daughter, which has grown a little too lax. That idea of the pattern interrupt echoes throughout “Boop.” Grace needs one to start really asserting herself with her emotionally abusive husband. Translated to therapy-speak, “boop” represents a “pattern interrupt.” When we find ourselves caught in destructive habits, sometimes taking just one small step to break free of the routine is helpful. In Grace’s first therapy session back with Jimmy since she ghosted him, she says that sometimes she wishes she could just push her husband’s coffee off the table, making a “boop” sound. ![]() love her nonetheless.Photo: Vulture Photo: Apple TV/Beth Dubber She, among many, is looking for a loving lair to join. I brought him back to life with a site skin but oml. Ok ok, I beg to differ about gembond, Kula also wears it well!Īnd yes she is a child of one of the earliest dragons I bought. Same story with Runes and changing out Underbelly as soon as that came out. Then I think Eva used to have Shimmer but then Butterfly came out and I changed that almost immediately. Originally a Tundra but for reasons lost to history a Breed change to Coatl was made. While Olethros has gone through several changes in accents and apparel beside that I've not touched him either. I haven't even changed any of her apparel once I put these on. Probably my oldest that I haven't regened. Sera has been unchanged since I bought her. I do tend to regene and/or breed change old favorites if something better appears. I have several old dragons that have sentimental value but here's the three that are the most unchanged. I won't be buying non g1s in the future but these guys get to be the exception to the rule. A few are especially precious as they were gifts from my best friend who used to play. I have these 10 non g1 dragons (honestly more than I remembered) but I love them all a lot. I also wouldn't buy them because now I'm a g1 lair but since they are sentimental to me, I let the few non g1s I have stay. I've been trying to give some of those dragons I probably wouldn't buy a glow up. I'm super curious to see y'alls examples of your 'my taste changed/I know better now, but I still love you' dragons hehe She is the only derg I can imagine where gembond looks nice. I don't even like skink anymore, not to mention the non-matchy ice eyes (that I managed to work into his lore)Īnd Sundew is one of the leaders of my entire clan!! She's beautiful, one of my favorite dragons I own but she looks so, eh without her apparel and skin!!! and GEMBOND. Leif is one of my favorite dragons but, look at those genes. but, some of them are just, absolutely not something I would buy again now. And they're still some of my favorites, both because of how I dressed them, as well as their emotional value. ![]() Exactly what the title says I have several dragons in my lair that I bought right after I started playing, before I knew anything about breed rarity, gene rarity, or how pretty much anything in the entire game worked.
